I’m Joana, a graphic and web designer since 2013. I spend my days between visual identities, websites and an unhealthy number of open tabs.

(01) Solo
The person who answers is the person who designs
I work solo, so the person answering your emails is also the one in Figma, in WordPress and, quite possibly, adjusting an alignment for the fourteenth time. I like every project to be different: giving them all the same face would be rather boring.
(02) How I work
From “I can’t quite explain it” to the answer
Some projects arrive with everything crystal clear; others arrive with an idea, three references and an “I can’t quite explain it, but…”. I like both. That’s where the work starts: understanding what lies behind it, trying out paths and shaping something that, in the end, feels obvious.
- 01I get to know what you need, the brand’s context and the goal of the project.
- 02I organise the process and send you an estimated timeline.
- 03I present the creative direction.
- 04We refine it until we reach the final solution.

I’m based in Póvoa de Varzim, just north of Porto. I work with brands from the region and, remotely, with clients in Portugal and abroad.
